WHEN I HEARD oversea VNese coming back Vietnam and complained about overprice thing.. 2015-2018: I used to constantly complained about it. I started to convert things to AUD, reckon everything seems way too expensive for average salary. I used my old measure to judge people life. 2024: after 7 years getting back to this life, I bragged about $18 AUD bowl of Pho in Spring Vale but then all of sudden, I had left the country for almost 10 years. Lots of shit has changed. On the other hand, I brought people to visiting “good place” in Vietnam and heard people complain about the price. I used to brag a lot but now I reckon we may not be fair in life. We may only see thing on only one angle of the story. Or maybe my mind set shifted. Price is subjective, I less focus on it. Rather than, I care how time I may spend with a person. Sometimes, if you have to count life in cents, it limits your point of view. Sometimes, we spent once, to memorize it for the rest of life. Who does not like good food really? . But this bowl is expensive 🥹 I am kinda have standards for D1 price but 100k for this bowl…. It broke my heart to eat as it was so good but yet, it was so small…Maybe I suit w cheap ass Asian life style after all. The cake is just phenomenal!!! Still a must try 🤫
