It’s sarcasm that modern society taught you about the term “global citizen” but they only accept two types of people. If you used to live oversea for a while, either you are a “banana” who is “tanned” – “once dated white, only date white”/ “wild sex animal”; if not, you r “pale” who r desperately need “white than a white”, typical appearance (long black hair w red lip stick); there is no where in between, someone who could eat sandwiches w soy sauce, laugh at stand up comedy gig’s dirty talk but still shy af (sometimes)
FOMO is real, you are constantly encouraged to pick a side, to be like a mass; the world tries hard to squeeze you in a pattern, cause your difference drive them crazy. People has non-stoped complaining the cons of modern world but no matter what “type” of woman you are, I believe women w class stand out from the crowd.
Well, despite the fact how much I love “stereotype” people (the older, the quicker I am), life would be boring if only “tan” and “pale” cause I’m “yellow” and surely happy to be one. After all, variety is the spice of life.
This reminds me about an early Autumn 2015, we had breakie at Jardin Tan inside Botanic garden where he said “you r better not end up as those Chinese with the dog, those who r crazy into yoga rather than men and just so you know sex drive starts going down at 28!” Hahaa good new is none of the above has happened yet, happy 28!
As usual on birthday, thanks for parents to give birth, provide quality education but this year I would love saying “thank you” to myself too for all hard work learning, constantly adjust on the way I am growing
Note: food are still acceptable (happy tummy happy kid).
